Maine M1 – unfortunately no longer available…. BUT…
Unfortunately, due to the insolvency of the French paper manufacturer Arjowiggins Graphic, it is no longer possible to offer Maine M1 paper, the flame-retardant coated paper with very good properties known in specialist circles.
BUT: We have a real alternative for you:
Our EventGarant M1 papers with the best of all flame-retardant certificates, the M1 certificate.
As the name suggests, it is certified to M1: This is the best of all certificates for flame retardancy possible for paper – tending to be non-flammable.
For information in brief: The test result M1 (according to the standard NFP 92503 M1) is even more important than the German B1 certification. This certificate enjoys a high reputation worldwide.
EventGarant M1 is not only equivalent, but due to its slightly higher volume, in our opinion probably even the higher quality product. For example, EventGarant 320 g/sqm is the same thickness as Maine M1 380 g/sqm.
EventGarant is real fire protection for your public activities and campaigns, be it in shops, exhibitions, airports, train stations, theatres.
This white paper is excellent for offset and screen printing.
Suitability for digital printing cannot be guaranteed and should be checked in advance.
The material has high opacity and dimensional stability and very good processing properties.
The standard weights – 120 g/sqm and 320 g/sqm – of EventGarant M1 are in stock and available at short notice in 70/100 cm SB.
Important note: The weights 190 g/sqm and 250 g/sqm are currently only available in small quantities in our online shop. No decision has yet been made regarding restocking. Currently, large orders in these weights are only possible ex works. (Minimum quantity and delivery time on request).

ATTENTION:
The supply of flame retardant cardboard tends to zero.
However, we have the possibility to produce material in cardboard thickness from approx. 650 g/sqm by multilayer lamination.
EventGarant cardboard is also well suited, for example, as a protective material against damage in electric motors caused by sparks or other hot particles.
By the way: EventGarant board in two- or three-ply version is already available in smaller quantities.
